Another KMC innovation. We created Character Guard in response to CCG players' complaints that they love their art sleeves, but after regular shuffling the images begin to wear off. Character Guard sleeves protect your favorite art sleeves for the life of the sleeve!

I was skeptical about spending extra on top of my art sleeves, but after a few weeks of heavy shuffling the artwork looks untouched. The fit is perfectly snug over a standard sleeve, no sliding around mid-game.

The gold scroll pattern has survived a full week of aggressive shuffling without a single chip or scratch, which is more than I can say for my last set of art sleeves. They slide into the outer sleeve with just the right amount of resistance—not too tight, not too loose.

Finally, the art on my sleeves stopped peeling after a few shuffles—this extra layer takes the wear and tear without dulling the print at all. Sleeve feels stiff at first, but it breaks in beautifully and shuffles smooth. My deck looks as crisp as the day I sleeved it.
